LICENSING:
McCartney Manufacturing Company, Inc. continues as the sole manufacturing licensee. Megadiamond1s sub-license requires them to pay royalties on the sales value of diamonds produced in the press which they purchased from McCartney. Successful diamonds in experimental quantities were produced during 1971, but royalties were not due as these diamonds were not sold commercially.

We are planning to investigate the location and availability of the ultra high pressure equipment needed to produce the dense silicon carbide. At the present time the product does not seem to be able to induce the necessary motivation to acquire such equipment. However, it seems that if the equipment is already installed, a desire to fully utilize it might be sufficient motivation to consider producing research quantities of the dense silicon carbide.
